Let’s talk about the “best” shower filters

If you’ve ever Googled “top shower filters Australia” or found yourself scrolling through articles, you’ve probably seen the usual suspects: vitamin C ones, the cheap plasticy looking ones (apparently 15 stages??), and maybe a luxury brand or two that looks like it belongs in a spa in Byron.

When I first started looking into shower filters, I was overwhelmed. So many brands, so many claims. Some were “eco,” others “ionized,” a few promised “vitamin infusions” or “spa-like detox.” Most looked nice. Few had real info.

For years, I’d jump out of the shower and immediately reach for moisturiser. My skin always felt dry, tight, and a bit itchy, but I blamed the weather, my diet, or my skincare. Never the water.
