The Practical Stuff
Will this work with my shower setup?
It’s designed to fit 99% of showers in Australia. You can screw it onto the pipes or just before your shower head. If your pipes are tight against the wall, you might need a small adapter, but most setups work perfectly as is.
Do I need the adapter?
Most showers will fit the Watego filter straight out of the box, but in some cases, you might need a pivoting adapter. Here’s how to check:
Measure Your Clearance – From the wall to the center of your shower pipe, you’ll need at least 32mm of space to fit the filter properly (roughly two fingers).
Check Your Setup – Use a ruler or tape measure to see how much room you have. If it’s less than 32mm, a pivoting adapter will ensure a secure, easy install.

Will it affect my water pressure?
Nope, your water pressure should stay just as strong as always. We designed the Watego filter to keep your shower feeling powerful while it cleans up the water.
Unless you forget to replace the filter for ages and it gets super clogged, you’ll have the same great pressure you’re used to.
Can I install the filter myself?
Yep! It only takes a few mins. Most of the time, you can loosen and tighten it with your fingers. In some cases, it might feel a bit tight, and a wrench or pliers could help unscrew it.

How often do I need to replace it?
It lasts 3–4 months, depending on how often you shower:
3 months for families or heavy use.
4 months for couples or lighter use.
Over time, it becomes less effective at removing contaminants, so replacing it keeps your water clean and pure.

How long is shipping?
We ship all orders with AusPost. Orders over $70 get free standard shipping, which takes 2–6 business days to most areas in Australia.
